Breakfast was prepared exceptionally well. I’ve stayed hundreds of nights at Hyatt Place properties across the country, and while the base ingredients were familiar, something here was different. This team truly cares. From the check-in host, to breakfast with Vilinda and her team the staff showed real pride and attention to quality. Highly impressed.

As always, service was great. The front desk is a accommodating. I always enjoy my stay here. My only concern with my room was that my curtains would not close and it faced a busier street.

Nice clean hotel with excellent service. I too was concerned with the sketchy looking motel next door, but had no issues at all. There was a Security Guard at night and we did not see any homeless on the property. Shoutout to Desk Clerk who checked us in (Michelle?), who went over and above to move our room away from the elevator when we asked upon arrival. No hesitation to stay here again in the future.

The girls at the front desk were great all weekend. We had several issues with our key working and had to move rooms once because of it. Rooms itself were fine, nothing to write home about. Location wasn't great.

INCREDIBLE SUITES & AMENITIES! I absolutely loved the Hyatt Place in Tucson, it’s 8 mins away from DT Tucson and the main hub of activity. My family of three stayed in a wonderful suite which came with two TV’s, a microwave, and a fridge! One of the TV’s was specifically for the lounge area in our sweet which came with a comfortable couch and helpful desk. The only feature I didn’t like about our room was the shower, it didn’t have a barrier at the bottom so water could easily spill out. The beds were so comfortable, I came for a getaway and I’ve never slept better in my life. The pillows, sheets, and blankets were so cozy! I felt right at home inside this hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast (served from 6-9 am) which included eggs, waffles, breakfast potatoes, sausage/bacon, and juice/coffee. I didn’t like the oatmeal (it was prepackaged, not fresh) nor the fruit (canned), these options could’ve been way better. If you miss breakfast there’s a Waffle House across the street! Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We felt safe throughout the duration of our stay and I appreciated seeing security on the property.

I've stayed at over 20 Hyatt places. This one is fine. I was very scared to stay here based on the reviews. The rooms are comparable to any other Hyatt place. My room was clean. Breakfast is the standard Hyatt breakfast. Although yes, it was missing fresh fruit. Staff we encountered were friendly. The homeless: Well, if you drive around Tucson, homeless are EVERYWHERE. I mean the situation is real bad in this town. Every part of town we saw a ton of homeless people. So yes there are homeless by the corner store next door. There's also a sketchy motel next door but there is a perimeter fence on the sides and back of the property. They also have security at night. No you are not going to be bothered on the property. I was a bit worried about my car but it was fine.

I booked two rooms for a weekend stay 1/23 to 25/2026 for my wife and an elder sibling. This is my second time staying at a Hyatt Place-level hotel, and it confirmed my suspicions about the Hyatt "Place" properties, namely, they are just your average hotel with none of the pizzazz of a Hyatt Regency, etc. There was nothing special about the place. The room was clean, the free breakfast not quite passable (for example, tasteless cardboard waffles, the scrambled eggs had no flavor). The first time was at the Fairbanks, AK, property, and I thought that first experience might be unique because I had been told by a native Alaskan not to expect the same level of quality as the lower 48 states. The lesson I learned is that if you want a slightly upscale "place" of lodging, don't book a Hyatt Place property. Go for Hyatt Regency or some other brand's. I thought it was overpriced for what we got. As my wife and I went up to our fourth floor room on the needs-to-be-replaced elevator, a frequent lodger told us it used to be a Hampton Inn and was NOT a newer property.
